Didn't realize all that had happened to her and her family in Italy. She had contributed a lot of information in this book and shows what happened to their small village during WWII. This book filled in the details of a story that I have heard growing up. My grandfather’s sister was among the victims of this brutal massacre. The story was well-written and I appreciate the author’s thorough research.
A tragic account of the suffering a small mountain village in Italy had thrust upon them during WWII.
